BOOKING QUESTIONS How far in advance should I plan my session? Planning in advance is always the best bet! The best time to book your session is around 1-2 months in advance and setting the shoot for 1-2 months before you need the products back. However, if you need something in a couple weeks then we can definitely get something turned around for you! Some products take longer for others in production but that’s something we can discuss during the booking process. How do I book you for my session? Just send us an email at info@aylaphotography.com or call us at 416-825-1442 to get more information and reserve your spot. Is there a retainer to book my session? Yes, a signed contract and non refundable retainer of 50% of the cost is due to book your shoot. How are payments accepted? It can be done online via paypal, or clients can pay in person via cheque or cash. STUDIO INFORMATION & DESTINATION BOUDOIR Where are you located? We are in the Square One area of Mississuaga, but serve Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and many more cities! If I am located in Ontario and want to use a hotel rather than the studio, how does that work? Anything outside the studio is at the client’s expense. I can recommend a list of local hotels that will be a great backdrop for your session. If I book for one of the weekend getaways, do I pay for the hotel?  No you don’t. The hotel cost is calculated into your investment package. If you want to use a different location that will be at your expense but nothing is deducted from your package as I still have to cover travel costs. GALLERIES AND EDITING How long does it take to receive my gallery after my session? Your gallery will be placed online within 3-5 business days from your session. Once it is up you will have an email with all instructions for viewing your gallery as well as ordering information, image selection and more. All galleries are private in nature with your own unique password. Do you edit the images? Any images that you buy are fully edited to make it perfect! Your gallery will contain 2-5 of "AYLA's Choice" retouched photos, but the remainder of the proofs will be retouched.  Once you have decided on your final images, those will be edited within 5-7 business days and placed back online for final approval before product ordering. Can you edit out acne, stretch marks, scars? Yes, at your session we will go over what you want from your editing. and if you want things removed such as scars and blemishes.  Our goal is to provide images that are completely edited, but also are true to you--naturally beautiful. How long will my gallery be up? All galleries are up for 1 month before they expire. Do my images have to go on your website?Absolutely not!  Clients sign a model release form indicating if they would like them used publicly or not. DURING YOUR SESSION Can I bring a friend? Yes, however, we do limit it to one friend during the shoot. Who will be there during my shoot? As a couple, we are both there during the shoot, however if clients feel they would only like females present, we accommodate them.  Makeup artists and hair stylists (whether booked by us or the clients) can also be made available to stay during the shoot. What goes on during a shoot? The first thing we go over when you arrive is looking through what you brought. We want to see all your outfits, any inspiration pictures you have or your ideas. Once we go over that, we’ll then pick out some favorite music and get shooting. We help you with your poses during the entire session.  There will be music, and we will always be talking and laughing to keep the flow of the shoot going and to make you feel comfortable. OUTFITS AND MAKEUP Do you provide outfits? Clients bring their own outfits (for sanitary reasons and comfort).  We also offer to do tasteful nude shots if our clients wish.  Do you provide makeup and/or hair? Anyone who wishes to have hair and makeup done, we have stylists and makeup artists that work with us. Makeup is 50.00. Contact for hairstylists, as prices vary depending on the work that is done.
